I've always believed that we should be able to find out as much as possible about what we are about to buy, and hiring the DJ for your event should be no different. If its your wedding that you are planning for, then it becomes vitally important that you find the right person for the job. I could write an endless list of warning signs to look for when booking a DJ, but I think its better if I focus on why I believe I am the right DJ for you.
Firstly, I am now in my 14th year of DJing at weddings and private parties, so you are in very experienced hands. This counts for so much when working at a wedding. I am incredibly proud of the amount of reviews I have from previous Brides & Grooms, and this has been a very strong link to why my diary is already very busy for 2011. Trust is everything on your wedding day, and I think this is where I excel above many others.

This is a photo of my living room at home, set up with my White LED DJ booth lit up in Purple. I have several wedding couples each week come and visit, to chat in depth about what I can do for them on their wedding day. This has been invaluble to the success of every wedding I've done. Getting to know my clients first is a massive benefit to me, and vice versa
So, what kind of DJ am I?
Well, its a very good question. Great music really does take care of itself, and my ability to fill a dance floor is now second nature after 14yrs experience. A full-time Professional DJ is expected to have very good music knowledge and an extensive music collection. Whether a wedding has 70 guests, 200, or anything in between, the ability to cater for everybodys personal taste is expected. Taking requests is something I really enjoy doing. Also, a lot of what I do is based on visual beauty. Quality lighting is a speciality of mine. I like the DJ area and dancefloor proximity to look pretty, and this plays a big part in why I get a lot of great reviews from past clients about how nice I made their venue look in the evening. For me its very important that your guests walk into the room where you are having your reception and feel a WOW factor. Also, I must stress I am NOT the type of DJ that talks after every song in a false annoying voice!
What type of music do I play?
I meet around 90% of my clients before or after they book me, and we discuss this in depth. All my clients have complete freedom to create their own playlist or choose as many song requests as they like. My music library is vast, and covers pretty much everything from the last 6 decades. Whatever your taste in music is, I will strive to include all of your requests into my set.
Wedding venues
2010 was a very good year for me. I captured the attention of several wedding venues who liked the way I worked whilst at their venue, and as such, now use me as a preferred supplier to their wedding clients.

I have a fantastic relationship with the owner of Dove Barn - Adam Dixon-Smith, and I plan to be there a lot in 2011.
Here is a photo of the beautiful grounds at Dove Barn

I was approached by the owner of Pashley Manor - James Sellick, after I DJ'd at the wedding of Amy & Michael on 6th
August 2010. I now feature on this great venues recommended suppliers list and am looking forward to going back
there in 2011

I absolutely love Mannings Heath Golf Club! Its one of my favourite venues. I love going back there, whether its for
wedding fayre's or to DJ. I believe it is a vastly underrated venue. I might even get married there myself!
Other venues where I have a healthy amount of bookings for 2011 are: Rivervale Barn in Yateley, Buxted Park Hotel in Uckfield, Careys Manor in New Forest, Burnham Beeches Hotel in Berkshire, Manor House Hotel in Guildford, The Royal Berkshire Hotel in Ascot, Wasing Park in Aldermaston, Clandon Park in Guildford, and many others. If you are getting married at any of these venues, feel free to contact me to discuss how I can bring real quality to your wedding day.
